Director
Bo Powell
Powell is an English director who is currently a student at Leicester college studying a TV and film production course, who created, directed and had various other roles to result into the finish product of Powells creation “Lady Luck”. There wasn't an exact inspiration for Powells first project, since a big role was just loving the aesthetics and appearance of the 1940s as well as capturing the story that she thought could be an interesting plot to create.
Growing up Bo wanted to be in the film industry from a young age, having a keen interest for film and especially growing up with her film-loving dad who showed her the classic films that led her to this dream. Bo has said previously “I love the creative aspects in film making as there are no rules, so I'd like to explore new ideas and learn new skills” after being asked what future lies ahead of her.
