Junaid Zaindeen
Junaid Zaindeen, born in South Africa but now lives in Market Harborough, is a 19-year-old boy who has studied media both at Robert Smyth Sixth form and now at Leicester college. His goals are to study film at the University of Nottingham and one day work in the film industry. His inspirations stem from his own personal love of media with music videos being his favorite to create and watch specifically Radiohead and Blur, but also from his media heavy family with his brother being an animator for ILM and his cousin being a graphic designer. “Little Lab Rat” was the first student film he has worked on along with a film for Popcorn Funnies” which will be premiered at the ODEON and will be viewed by industry specialists. He is now directing a music video titled “Tellyvision” for the music artist “FreakBone”, but despite this he has worked on various other personal and solo projects from previous schools or interests. His methodical approach and clear visions of his projects are his greatest attribute when it comes to media production and will continue to use this way of film-making for future projects.
