While thinking about short film ideas, the idea sparked about how I thought it'd be interesting to include some kind of time jump as this relates to change. Starting off I wanted to use iconic decades, and thought the 1940s would be perfect from the fashion to the planned use of black and white in the film. I also remember discussing ideas with my dad and that's where the inspiration for the accident and coma that occurs, so it could be a reason for the time change as she wakes up in the 1980s another decade that is completely different (I also chose the 1940s and 1980s since they are some of my favorite eras from the 1900s) . I hoped to create an emotional drama, that keeps the viewers gripped and interested as there is plotline changes but also an ominous and thrilling feeling due to the events that occur. Even though most of the process of film making can be fun, I did run into a few challenges while creating my idea this was due to issues with our actors and their schedules which made it limited to the times we could film. And we also ran into a few issues with the props as they hadn't been ordered yet, so we had to wait to film some parts of the film. This project gave me alot of creative opportunities that I've never had before, from bringing my first ever film to life to learning a lot of new technical skills like using green screens and camera/sound skills. I also got the chance to do another one of my interests within the project, which was makeup for the actors, I did an 1940s look and did old person makeup for the 1980s. Overall, I really enjoyed the whole process of creating my film and enjoyed trying new things and techniques
